UN Women is the new gender entity at the UN, combining the Division for the Advancement of Women, Unifem and Instraw (created by the UN General Assembly after the First World Conference on Women held in 1975) and the Office of the Assistant Secretary General for Gender Issues.

February 6 - February Happy Hour. On Wednesday February 6th, join us at the Shoreham Hotel Bar for a casual opportunity to meet and network with members of the Metro NY Chapter of the US National Committee for UN Women, as well as other members of NYC organizations committed to women’s issues.
